Illyse Kaplan

With more than two decades of development experience, I have spent the majority of my career with New York City community-based non-profits leading comprehensive development activities.  Most recently, I was the Vice President of Development and Communications at Comunilife where I was responsible for developing a yearly comprehensive development plan based on the organization’s strategic plan and annual and long-term programmatic goals. I, with the development team, was responsible for all aspects of the fundraising plan including foundation and government funding, fundraising and community events, board development, and individual giving. In partnership with the President/CEO, I conducted intergovernmental relations with emphasis on New York State and NYC elected officials.
