Rachel Cytron

Rachel Cytron is the Founder and Principal of Cymblem Consulting, where she advises mission-driven organizations on how to scale effectively by strengthening their people, systems, and operations. She partners with organizations to build the infrastructure required for growth—ensuring that talent strategy, organizational design, and day-to-day operations are aligned with strategic goals.

Rachel specializes in building and optimizing talent and management systems for organizations in periods of expansion or transition. Her work includes designing high-functioning HR and talent acquisition systems, developing performance management frameworks, and implementing practical tools that increase accountability, clarity, and retention. She is known for helping organizations move from reactive, ad hoc practices to structured, scalable systems that drive measurable results.

In addition to her advisory work, Rachel designs and delivers leadership and management development trainings that equip managers to lead effectively in complex environments. She combines strategic insight with hands-on implementation, ensuring that learning translates into sustained organizational improvement while creating communities of learning and support. 

Rachel brings deep executive leadership experience across New York City–based nonprofits. She mostl recently served as Executive Director of Row New York. She has also held senior leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer at Partnership With Children and Associate Executive Director at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI). Across these roles, she has overseen large, multi-site teams, managed complex operations, and led organization-wide strategy, giving her a practical, on-the-ground perspective that informs her consulting work.
