Association of Nonprofit Specialists (NP Specialists) Membership Benefits for all levels include:

Discounts to all NP Specialists events: Including Networking events, Educational Workshops, and Annual NP Specialists  Institute

Members-Only Directory Listing:  Exclusive access to a private, searchable, members-only directory that will include the member's name, contact information (phone, address, email, website link, social media, etc.), areas of expertise (e.g., fundraising, communications, grant writing, capacity building, etc.), number of  years as a consultant, and a photograph (optional). Members may use their log-in password to update and change information at any time, and are responsible for maintaining up-to-date information.

Public Advertiser/Consultants Directory: A listing in the searchable public directory for website visitors seeking services and products related to nonprofit interests. (Non-members may be listed in the Directory for an annual fee of $250.)

Advance notice for speaking, writing and other showcase opportunities: Members will receive early notification of RFP announcements for NP Specialists' programs.

Access to Members-only Website areas:  Members may use their password to access the members-only area of the website that includes a blog, and a Q&A section that allows members to post questions and articles.

Job Board:  Unlimited access to the NP Specialists' Job Board and 50% discount to post positions.  (Non-member posts cost $100 for a 30-day ad; member discount is $50 for a 30-day ad.)

Permission to list NP Specialists' affiliation and link to the NP Specialists' website, and use of the NP Specialists' logo in member's website and promotional materials.

For organizations or companies that do business with the nonprofit community.  Benefits include all those included in the Individual Membership, plus

  • Membership for an unlimited amount of staff of your organization
    • Upon receipt of payment, you will be contacted to provide the names of the individuals for membership.

Organizations that join the Association of Nonprofit Specialists by February 28, 2018 will be acknowledged as Charter Institutional Members and receive a one-time discounted rate of $300   After February 28, 2018, the dues for an Institutional Membership apply ($350).  Benefits include all listed above PLUS:

  • Two (2) General Memberships
    • Upon receipt of payment, you will be contacted to provide the names of the individuals for membership.
    • Note: The individual completing this application will be considered the Primary Contact for the Organization, but not a Member.
  • Logo with a link to website on the NP Specialists' homepage scroll.

For organizations or companies that do business with the nonprofit community.  Benefits include all those included in the Individual Membership, plus

  • Three (3) Individual Memberships
    • Upon receipt of payment, you will be contacted to provide the names of the other two individuals for membership.
    • Note: The individual completing this application will be considered the Primary Contact for the Organization.

An Online Public Directory for consultants or larger firms or related vendors who are not interested in becoming members, but want to reach the NP Specialists' audience and advertise their services.

Individual membership is for individual professional consultants who serve nonprofits, as well as C-Suite nonprofit leaders. 

This membership level is available to any nonprofit staff member outside the C-Suite. Benefits include all those included in the Individual Membership.


This membership level is for new consultants with less than two years of experience.  It is good for one-year only; individuals must renew as Individual Members after a one-year membership. Benefits include all those included in the Individual Membership.

This membership is available to students and are renewable while remaining a student. Benefits include all those included in the Individual Membership.
